A week before Turkey’s parliamentary elections, speculation regarding possible outcomes occupies the minds of political leaders and pundits alike. The intricacy of the Turkish electoral system, in particular the 10 percent national electoral threshold and the volatility of voters’ preferences, make accurate predictions difficult, but this policy brief offers various possible scenarios, including different coalition government configurations.
